Kumihimo bracelets

 Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese weaving art. It is done using circular or square boards with slots for the yarn or thread. Different patterns of the yarn will yield differ designs of bracelets.

Using the square board you can make flat Kumihimo bracelets. But when I made it both the above bracelets came out to be circular. May be I would have to try again. But the blue bracelet was made using circular board and the green one using square board. 

And it's pretty easy making your own Kumihimo boards. So search for the tutorials and make your own, instead of buying them. Enjoy weaving you Kumihimo braids
